Another Change - Place To Call Home & Furniture Shopping
For the time being, as I mentioned earlier, we’ll be staying with Zaini’s Dad during the weekdays and be back to our own home during the weekends and holidays. The reason being, we don’t want to wake up at 4am just to make sure we can get Raimie to be in time for school every morning. (We wanted Raimie to go to school nearer to his grandfather’s house instead of ours, hence the decision to put him in a school quite far from our home).
There’s a teeny weeny problem about this slight change in our lives - I forgot how expensive it was to buy furniture. We didn’t want to use the existing stuff in Zaini’s old room and we went looking for a new bedroom set to buy. Even the cheapest set is sold at more than RM1,000.00!
There goes our cash we put in the bank! 
Raimie did have some fun running around the furniture shops that we went to. We had to go to several shops to compare until we found one that are both cheap and promised fast delivery. (and no, that’s not th bedroom set we bought. 
)
Zaini haggling with the staff at the furniture shop. We got a good price and some pillows thrown in. Come Monday, we’ll sleep on a new bed & mattress. 
(Can you believe that we haven’t bought a new bed since we got married 9 years ago?)
