We all love freebies. We love getting discounts. And we love getting free vouchers to the outlets we always frequent.

I’m such a sucker for all three, that I would return to an outlet/shop that I had vowed never to enter just because of these. Example: I’m not that crazy about a certain outlet of Tony Roma’s but I got these vouchers and it is the nearest located Tony Roma’s, so I expect I’ll see myself in there pretty soon.

If a restaurant gave me discounts, they’ll see me there a few more times too! If you give me free gifts, I’d probably promote you to friends and relatives.

Though come to think of it, I’m still actually forking out money there even with the vouchers and maybe more than I should. Didn’t I say I’m a sucker? LOL

On their part, it certainly good for business to have repeat customers.

Oh, got a RM20 from Pasta Zanmai too. A meal for three there should set me back for RM100, so I’ll pay RM80 for my next meal. W00T!

To those who celebrate Christmas, a very Happy Christmas to you and your family. Are you back home with your family for the holidays? For those who are driving tonight, please drive carefully so that you can reach your destination safely. I bet all of you are looking forward to some holiday food. What’s the traditional food served in your family for Christmas?

 For those who doesn’t but lucky enough to enjoy a public holiday tomorrow, Happy holidays too! What’s your plan for the day off? Going back to your hometown too?

 Unlike previous year, I didn’t have any gift exchange at my office this year. No Christmas tree put up either. It’s a quiet Christmas at the office.

Time sure flies. The end of year school holiday is drawing to a close and come Jan 5, Malaysian children of schooling age will trudge their way to their respective school.

My son is entering the Primary School next year. We’ve lots of shopping to do for him - school uniforms, shoes, school bag, stationeries… We didn’t realize that back to school expenses can cause quite a dent to the pocket and the wallet! We know better now!

Parents - have you done with your children’s school shopping yet? Do you buy their stuff early or do you wait till the last minute?

My son grouched a bit when we were buying his school uniforms and he did get on my nerves. So it was lucky that we bought his uniforms when there are no huge crowd of like minded shoppers at the mall. Otherwise, tempers sure can flare in a busy crowd!20

How do you get your ideas for your blog?

I always have (or I think I have) good ideas just before I sleep. I always thought of all sorts of stuff to write but I didn’t jot any of them down because if I did, I probably won’t be able to sleep!

Funny thing is, I don’t have the same flow of ideas when I’m wide-awake and when my fingers are poise to type away. Any of you have the same predicament?

Now that I blog, I always carry my camera around. My friends always look incredulous at the stuff I photograph whenever I go out with them. Unfortunately for me, most of my friends don’t read blogs and almost all don’t know that I have one. (A pity because otherwise I think I’d have better traffic count and ad profits. Hehehe)

Just yesterday, my company’s accountant asked me what is a blog. The reason being, the wife of our HR Manager is said to post plenty of his photos in her blog.
